Tumour Board at BLK Cancer
The Tumour Board at BLK Cancer Centre plays a critical role in multidisciplinary Cancer Care. The team of specialists from Medical Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Radiology, Genetics, Histo-pathology and Haemotology collaboratively offer most advanced patient care by reviewing each patient's condition and determining the best treatment plan.
The Tumour Board focusses on every minute detail of patient care, evaluating all the treatment options and formulating the best treatment plan for the patient.
Genetic Counselling Programme
With a goal to provide a multidisciplinary, comprehensive approach to the care of patients at increased risks of cancer, a well -equipped team of health professionals at the Centre help you understand the risk associated with developing specific types of cancer, which passes from one generation to another and develops from specific genetic changes, or mutations.
Our Genetic Oncology Specialists conduct specialised training in medical genetics and counselling, in order to provide assistance and information on all Familial Cancers and educate people about the various types of hereditary cancerswithin their lifetime and at an earlier age.
The Genetic Counselling Programme at BLK Cancer Centreprovides an opportunity to undergo genetic testing in order to determine hereditary cancer predisposition syndrome and consequently recommend high-risk cancer surveillance and management.
The Voice Clinic
Voice Clinic at BLK Cancer Centre is a specialised comprehensive clinic with ultra-modern technology and trained specialists for diagnosis and management of voice, airway, swallowing disorders and laryngeal cancer. Speech therapists at BLK Cancer Centre’s Voice clinic offer effective treatment solutions to cure the damage caused to the larynx (voice box).
